I think it'll be really close, the Gran turismo 5 prologue is doing much better then GT4P, and Gran Turismo 4 sold 9.5 million. Gran Turismo is a really good racing game.
Edit edit edit everythings Edited: It should have a good release by the time GT5 comes out (I've heard different things, either late 2009 or early 2010) it's safe to say the PS3's userbase will be about 30 million (really god knows, everyone didn't expect the X360 to sell as much as it did for the holidays, so could be more or less but 30 million is a safe guess). So it should have a really healthy first week, maybe 2 million first week and Gran Turismo games are know to have great legs so it should be close like I said.
Edit: Just incase anyone forgot, here's the numbers for the previous Gran Turismo games.
