I can't argue over wether or not Lair is a decent game, but I can say this: It's not the worst exclusive on the console.... Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire is... I played it for half an hour and was scarred for life.

 

 

ps3. i had this discussion with my boyfriend, who has both. i love the 360, particularly for eternal sonata and bioshock but since they'll be out on ps3 soon my argument was pretty much killed, and with the introduction of lbp i totally fell in love with sackboy

PS3 because of the different genres of games they got.
X360 has too much shooters and that's about it.

Ps3, because I like Ratchet, Resistence etc.

after a year of wii owner i got the ps3.
for metal gear solid 4, FF13, *FF13 Versus, White Knight Chronicles, Gran turismo 5, God of War 3, Team ICO, etc etc.
found love in little big planet later =)

 *especially  that game!!, its directed by tetsuya nomura and developed by the kingdom hearts team!, a darker FF that i always wanted! =D

PS3.

- the games i'd be interested in on 360 are also on PS3 (RE5, FFXIII, SFIV) or i'd prefer to play on PC (COD4, L4D, etc.)

- then there's the PS3 exclusives like MGS4, LBP & Singstar

- then it's a good way to get into Blu ray when i decide to not bother with DVDs anymore.

A year ago I would have said PS3, now I'm leaning Xbox. If the PS3 has a better 2009 we can talk.

PS3, as it plays Blu-ray discs, a couple of friends already have it, and because it is more reliable. Regarding the XBox failures, I doesn't matters if they fix RROD by now. I don't feel confortable buying from a company who actually release products with quality control problems, whereas SONY products have a good track with me in the past.

The only HD console i'll buy will be the next Nintendo console...

Till then, i'll use my money for my favorite Wii/DS games, and i won't have any regret, even if some "must have" games are released on PS360... i have many other (costly) passions, and make Micro$ony richer is not one of my goal in this life...

And about Blue-Ray, well... my home-cinema is already in upscaled 720p thru HDMI on a (very big) white screen, and if the industry wants me to buy another movie collection every 10 years, they may just go to hell... i'm sick of all that bullshit, and Blue Ray won't last anyway, just as Betamax or UMD or any other silly and useless format they wanted to impose...
