I predict 400k first week, less than that is a disappointment for all the hype this game has.
You guys have to check this, they hype is enormous in Japan :P
Its Final Fantasy, only the name will make it sell, no matter how terrible the game is, especially in Japan. Personally I'm absolutely not interested in this game, don't like fighting games.

But but but it's FInal Fantasy and you can play Cloud Versus Squall or Zidane Versus Tidus :P
Also it's actually an RPG not just a fighter ^^
250k first week, will sell more than Crisis Core, but not by much, also I dont think it will be as good as Crisis Core. Everyone is getting hyped up about it because of the possible dual combinations available. Cloud Vs Squall, Sephiroth Vs Kefka, or the other 20ish possibilities......
Does anyone have an idea of when we see the first day sales? ^^

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
