Forums - Gaming - Where the heck is Legend of Dragoon 2?

The legend of dragoon was my favorite game on the PS1. I've been eagerly waiting for 8 years to see if they announce sequel without any luck... Does anyone else remember this game?

I remember the game :o
spinning cane?

I've never played this game ... a sequel is maybe in the "sony 5 rpg's project"?

The same guy that made this game works on Final Fantasy III and Super Mario RPG. He hasn't worked on any new projects in years.

It is rumored to be in development now, but I would get to excited at the moment.

Didn't Legend of the Dragoon take 3 years to make and come in massive overbudget?

It has been rumoured and as said it could be 1 of Sony's RPGs to boost their sales in Japan

It took 100 people over 3 years to make due to all the CG. The CG was completely breathtaking though, well ahead of its time.

I agree. If they were releasing it, it would certainly increase the PS3's value to me or the PSP if they want to go that way.

Yeah, I loved that game too. I don't think it was popular enough though
