Forums - General Discussion - The Official Premier League Thread

Hi ladies and gents. I realize vgchartz was missing something vital. That my friend was  the wonderful game of football (NOT AMERICAN FOOTBALL). So I decided to put a premier league thread on vgchartz so we can discuss all the highs and lows of the 2008-09 season.Starting from now enjoy

Go Chelsea!

Can't believe we didn't beat West Ham today

Haha, awesome, we need one of these threads.

I'm an Aston Villa fan, so I'm beaming at the moment .

We wont finish in the top four though, we don't have the consistency to do it. If you look at the top four they all have one thing in common, they are consistent. They don't lose to middlesbrough and stoke, but then beat Arsenal with same team.

Also we have very little skill in our side, we don't have any Ronaldos, Lampards or Gerrards. We have good players, but no super players.

I think Aston Villa will finish 8th perhaps.

Does anyone think Hull can pull off a surprise this season?

Here's my prediction done on the BBC sport site, obviously it has accounted for Man City's spending spree over January.

Go Everton! OK, yeah, I'm first and foremost a Boca fan, but in the Premier I'm a diehard Toffee, I was watching last match with Man City, needless to say, Cahill's goal made me very happy.

@highwaystar

I think Villa will finish higher than 8th. I would be surprised if they finished out of the top 6. I don't think Man City will be anywhere near 5th by the end of the season, mid table at best. Also Liverpool top? wtf! Chelsea FTW!

I'm a bit sad neither Ipswich nor Derby is in the premier league this year though :(
