You guys are laughing because you think that chart was created as part of a joke. The article  is a joke: the graph was a 100% serious projection by a highly-paid analyst that got released early this year.

Edit: And the really, really, REALLY fun part about this is that the Wii's lifetime sales actually dropped by a few million units in 2012, to give the PS3 the win. They edited that out, though, and I can't find the original anymore.

It was still hilarious.

No it's not. The analyst chart was even worse because it showed that Wii would have negative drop at some point.

This really has to be a joke. The PS3 will NOT sell 41-million consoles by the end of next year. Does Sony really think they can sell 500k consoles a week for a year? There's just absolutely no way this will ever happen.
