@stokedup, i would also like the fighters arena too return as well. i also would like some quests online for co-op play, i think that would be a nice test for a elder scrolls mmo in the future.

Finally finished my first run through Dragon Age. Played as a mage. Always take a thief into the final battle. I went with a 2 tanker 2 mage combo but I think 1 tanker, 1 thief and 2 mages would be better.

I really screwed up with the lyrium potion preservation  through in the game so I had bugger all left going to the final battle. I was desperatly trying to find somewhere to by loads of lyrium dust but it's a pretty rare commodity. I also had tactics slots for taking taking health poultice in each of the character so I ended up chewing through them too fast in the final battle to the point where I totally ran out with still a fair bit of work to do. Made it through by the skin of my teeth and would have been totally pwned if I was playing on a higher difficulty setting.

Gonna be a bowmaster Dwarven bardic assassin rogue next.

my copy of dragon age 2 arrived yesterday, i got the signature edition. i've played around 5 hours so far i can't really say what i think of it, i think i need abit more time to get used to it.

i got it on the PS3

I have finally rented FF13 (PS3 version). lol. A year after release. Should arrive in the mail Monday/Tuesday something like that. I bought Torchlight (XBLA version. I already played it on PC) Wednesday night and beat it yesterday. This isn't really a RPG but I rented Borderlands (FPS with RPG-like elements) recently. The 360 version. I don't know if I'll stick with it. I prefer it to something like Halo or Gears. But the genre isn't my cup of tea. I had wanted to rent it anyway just to see what it's like. 

There aren't any other RPGs I plan on playing in the near future. FF13 should keep me busy unless I end up not liking it and sending it back. I have Persona Portable (PSP), Lunar Silver Star Harmony (PSP), Demon's Souls (PS3) and Yakuza 3 (PS3) on my queue and I did buy Cladun (PSP) and the limited edition of Ys Seven (PSP) recently but those are on hold for now.

I'm finding recently that I'm not into RPGs that much. Torchlight was a short and sweet dungeon crawler (Cladun fits that description too I guess. I don't think Ys Seven is terribly long either) I ploughed through in 6-7 game hours and invested an extra hour thus far post-game. Not really feeling like investing too much in 50 hour games anymore unless it's Persona or something. I was playing Hotel Dusk sequel Last Window (DS) recently. I find myself preferring visual novels like that over jrpgs these days. 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (DS) is another one I wanna check out.

Who's gotten Ar Tonelico 3? I hear it's so-so, not as good as I expected it to be.

So what do people think of Dragon Age 2?

I'm only around 15-20 hours into it but i'm having to force my way through, i'm just not really enjoying it. RPGs normally pull me in and i get into the story and really liking the characters i normally cant wait to get playing them again afeter a day at work but with this i'm getting nothing. Im really dissppointed because i massively enjoyed Dragon age origins. It seems as if everything has been rushed and has had no real effort put into it, it almost seems unfinished. I'm not sure if im going to finish because there's only so much of forcing myself to play it that i can take. Im gutted because i was so hyped for this.

I'm on ch. 4 of FF13 right now. Not my favorite rpg. But hey it's not bad. I'd say that FF13 is good (and therefore above average). I don't know about "great" (8 ). FF13 gets a lot of "love it" or "hate it" responses. I'm somewhere in the middle between love and indifference. I like FF13. It's just not exactly my favorite RPG. For comparison sake, I'd place Persona 3 in the "excellent" (9 ) category. Borderlands is also growing on me more (though like I said it's more like a FPS with RPG elements. Not really a RPG. It's kind of like Diablo FPS-style though).
