Lestat did you see one of those Dragon Age 2 battle system videos? They showed how your able to play it strategically in a more pause and strategise way or you can play it in a ARPG way.

I really love the new direction from what we've seen so far I might mix the two approaches together.

I've seen it and I'm not yet convienced. It seemed a much simplistic approach than what DA:O had and that what's turning me off DA2 so far.

Well remember I only played the console version. Is it worth buying the PC version of DA:O?

I haven't played the console version, so I really don't know the differences. PC version of DA:O plays a lot like the KOTOR games, with a much more strategic approach, similar to the Baldur Gate's series. 

Also, the ability to freely position the camera in the battle field helped you immensely, as it was one of the major complains in the console versions. Plus there's the modding community, which has already made some trully epic mods and enhancements over the original DA:O.

just got the trinity rpg from tecmo/koei today.

@mjk45, i bought the game after i downloaded and played the demo from psn. u can control anyone in your party at a given time, the controls are fluid and fun. the graphics are pretty decent and the menu was easy to move around in, i was very pleased with the game so much i bought it on launch day. i think u need to give it a try my friend
