Yeah, Bleem on PC had a lot of PSX compatibility, but for Dreamcast, individual games had to be coded separately. Playing PSX games at 640x480 resolution with no frame-rate drop and some texture sharpening back then was amazing though. Only with EPSXE emulator in 2004 did PC's surpassed that kind of emulation.

I believe it's still going strong Robo. Even last year it was finally released on Steam. http://everquest2.com/

The Judgement ring was amazing indeed, I became very proficient on it, mostly thanks to SH:Covenant and the ability to customize it to maximize damage, compromising target area for it.

My favourite would be FFXII battle system though (without gambits). It added a very large strategic layer to any battle in FFXII, and you had to really master it if you wanted to overcome the hardest bosses in the game, like Yiazmat, Zodiark and Omega Mk. II

Shadow Hearts was definitely up there as to my favorite systems, but the cake goes to SMT: Nocturne.  I love the fullturn/halfturn system.  The blocking with a character to get another character a full turn (on a half a turn) was awesome.

Add to that the moon cycles (auto crit on bright/dark moon etc) and you had one great experience.  The fact that the game was absolutely amazing did not hurt either.

And EQ2 is still up and running.  I received a free month two weeks ago (I played the game on and off for a few years) but have not activated it yet.

@lestatdark, did u like the battle system from legend of dragoon and if so, did u come close to getting a perfect like i did. it took awhile to get to that point though, i loved it alot because u had to pay attention during a fight instead of just pushing a button and repeat.

I think you should check out this game on Facebook, especially if you like RPGs. You basically build your own superhero or villain and battle others. There are also missions and there’s a bit of a story line. They also have league play which is REAL fun once you get a league going! It’s pretty complex and you love it especially if you like old school RPGs (D&D, marvel superheroes, dc heroes, pathfinder, mutants & masterminds, etc.)

Anyhow, here is the link:
