I really hope so. In fact, my two most awaited games for E3 are both handhelds; Lufia for DS and Parasite Eve 3rd Birthday for PSP

We've had some glimpses in S-E private parties, like the new combat system is going to be more TPS based, they're going to use a more RE-like approach, like they used in Parasite Eve 2. I'm actually hoping that they do a mixture between that and the system they used on Parasite Eve 1, which is my favourite battle system of all time for RPG's.

@lestatdark, i just hope they give it time and dont rush the game out the door before its done. i felt that is what they did with parasite eve 2.

The biggest issue was that Hirata wanted to differentiate itself from Sakaguchi and completely cut himself off from anything related from the original. 

They even discarded Hideaki Sena's novel at one point, that's why the game feels too different to what PE tried to accomplish in story terms.
