Wii fans should be happy - that means that more and more gamers are planning on buying SSBB. Never argue with positive feedback.

 So if the poll was on a xbox friendly site and SSBB got a low % you would be sad that its gonna be a sales failure ?

I'd say it is because this site deals with facts (or almost facts, if you could call them that), facts that show Nintendo outselling the competition week after week, i would have thought that was pretty clear and that it would pretty much explain the skew

Why exactly are games released months before the holidays supposed to outsell games released during the holidays?  Halo 3 will have probably sold 2+ million copies by the time the holidays start, and none of them count for this poll.  Every pre-ordered copy of Mario Galaxy is a holiday sale.  Halo will do well, but it will have blown the majority of the sales it'll be getting this year before the holidays even start.

tabsina has the right idea, but I think this is just like when Nintendo was losing. The console doing the worst has the fewest supporters willing to come out and talk about it. Its the bandwagon effect at its finest, and each console has its fair share of bandwagon supporters who are happy to ridicule when things are good and hide when things are bad. Sadly, there is nothing new or surprising about it.

Not only does this site have alot of nintendo fans, the Nintendo fans on this site are alot more aggressive then the Nintendo fans on most sites. Usually, there's a supiriority complex amongst Nintendo fans. "We're the true gamers", "gameplay doesn't matter to those guys", ect. I must admit that as a Nintendo fan myself, I fit this type pretty well. The Nintendo fans on this site are more willing to get there hands dirty with other fans.

 I have to agree, generally speaking other sites have a more docile breed of Nintendo Fanboy, but here we breed them for agression and we teach them the taste of Sony/MS fanboy blood early so they develope an addiction...a need....an obsession!

Joking aside, there is truth to what you say. 

Nope. It would OBVIOUSLY get a low rating since it would be an Xbox site. But since this site is about all three consoles and SSBB got nearly as many votes as Halo 3 I regard it as an honour.

Thats going a little far. Mario Galaxy may out sell them in its lifetime but no way on launch day alone even if it sold out. The reason? Every other game but Brawl comes out before it does giving them a chance to rack up sales.

Even though this site is about all three consoles there's probably more N-fanboys than M-fanboys. I wouldn't be surprised if Brawl gets more votes than Halo later on.
