Forums - Nintendo - Pictures shows a reason why 3rd party "core" Wii games don't sell...

I got No More Hereos at Walmart when it first came out, and it wasn't hidden behind anything.

^^^ Huh. It wasn't even in stock on day 1 at my gamestop.

Well, I didn't get it day one, but I remember seeing it behind the glass.

Not sure if it is still there. There was also a copy or two of Odama for the GameCube that had been lingering for awhile.

amazing!
They should re-release those burger king games as wii games and watch the dollars roll in.

D'oH!
I forgot, BK is a two handed burger where as McD is held in one hand. It makes so much sense now.

In fairness, it's not the retailers job to appease the "core" nintendo fans. They could care less what games are up there, as long as they sell, and apparently(and this makes me die a little on the inside) the imaginz series and all that carnival crap sells.

The only teeth strong enough to eat other teeth.

It's the same here in Mexico, the only decent game I could see here was Mercury Meltdown, but no Mario Galaxy, no Zelda, No More Heroes, nothing!

I asked the guy in charge where the f*ck were the good games, and how well the consoles and games sold?

Fortunately his answer was: "The Wii sells a lot!, but not the games. The Xbox360 sells a lot of games".

"Well", I replied, "maybe if you put quality games on the shelves....."

^^^ LOL, what was his response?

I think you're mixing up the cause and effect there.

Also there's a not-insignificant factor that those looking for core games know to ask for them (and they're almost always shoved away in the storeroom).
