Honestly? Now we have killzone 2 labeled a ?HALO KILLER?. People a successful game on the ps3 will not kill halo. Reports just came out a week or two ago and Halo 3 was still the top played game on Live for that given week despite the releases of gers 2 and cod waw. Get in your mind that no game will kill halo, the franchise has to loyal of a fan base. If anything only time will kill of HALO! GO CUBS!

Halo Killer is a made up name that was started by PS2 fanboys...

The xbox's biggest (and one of the few) success's was the introduction of the Halo series, and ever since PS2 fanboys have been craving for an equivalent on their platform. Many PS2 games have been labeled "Halo Killer" but have all fallen flat.

Today, PS3 fanboys are still looking for their own FPS which would equal or best the Halo series. They prophesize every new FPS has a Halo Killer hoping that one day their dreams come true.

So basically Halo Killer is a term now used by PS3 fanboys to hype a PS3 exclusive.

I think Halo Killer might be relative to how well a first person shooter on some other console sells. A game could see equal or better ratings to halo, but not sell anywhere near it, thus it wouldn't kill halo :P

You know what could kill halo? Let Sony market the game :D oooooh burn....

It is a supernatural event which scientists and forum writers (whats the difference?) believed would come this gen dubbed "Haze : The Killer of those things on angels heads".

call of duty 4 has better online than halo 3 just to let you know. that was the most game played on xbox live for the majority of 08.

besides you have to wait until killzone 2 comes out.
