 Hey.. at least I predict the Wii and PS3 will be 1st and 2nd (not in that order). Thats at least unbiased. I see the 360 topping sales at 40m. Wii and PS3 topping 100m.

 On the note of no console shooter that beats PC, yea its hard to comprehend saying that as I love PC games and shooters but I was in the Warhawk Beta and I loved it. Its truly an insanely great game. If EGM gives it below an 8 they are the most biased group of gamers I have ever seen. I'd pay $60 just for the game (like we do for PC games) without the headset.

Technically the US Wii numbers are almsot equal to world PS3 numbers right now but that's before the next weekly data for those two numbers come in :)

I'd have to agree with BenKenobi on this one. For example just cause the Xbox is 100 dollars doesn't mean everyone is going to rush out and get one. Not everyone is into video games or in a rush to switch over to blu-ray. That new stereo down at Futureshop may be the best deal in the world but some people just won't care.

If the PS3 ever out sells the Wii I'll eat my Wii and only play the PS3 and worship it as a god. Good thing that won't happen...or will it?

So let me get this straight leo-j, in about 1 year when the ps3 is at $400 and wii at $200, the wii will have approxiamately 30 Million Sold and the PS3 12 Million, then everyone will buy 28 Million PS3's and win the race while the Wii stops selling altogether, it will take the PS3 about 2.5 Years at that pace to get that number, and by then the Wii will be 50 million selling slowly, making PS3 sell another 20 million units in 1.5 years, and and the wii will be at 55 Million, PS3 50 million, and 5 Years and 9 Months have gone by, and this is the worst case scenario for nintendo and best case scenario for Sony, and people STILL think that it will outsell wii by 2009/10, not even Nintendo can produce units that fast

 Leo, the difference is the PSP didn't stop selling well for the DS to surpass it, the DS simply jumped up to monumental sales. 

 

What many PS3 fans are suppositioning is the Wii will slow down drastically in 2008-2009 and the PS3 will shoot up like a DS rocket.    That kind of reversal has never happened.   Not with both products on the market together like this.
