Thats it then, after uncharted 2 its time to sell the PS3 as it is not going to get any better . Epic said last month the 360 had hit 100% and all the Sony fanboys said it had nothing left. Atleast it took 3 years to max out, and the PS3 max'ed out in just over 2 years. Looks like this is the end of the PS3 then

using that train of thought you could conclude that the PS3 is easier to develop for, because they managed to max it out 1 year sooner.

Proud Sony Rear Admiral

So using maths...

Uncharted was about ten hours long using 30%....times that by three to give 90% which is what they will roughy use gives us....30 hours of gameplay!

Supposedly

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

Sigh, I hate these comparisons. I can max out the PS3 with an endless loop on all SPUs. Voila 100% CPU usage. Nothing sensible done of course.

hmm interesting... the other chars better make a comeback though ! otherwise it would suck :(

Yes that could be it, which is not good news, or it could mean that it is designed so badly that the bottle necks ( Memory 256 etc ) will always hold it back. On both counts its not good news for the PS3.

That is not possible. How can you use 100% of something that is well know to be infinitely powerful, like The Cell? I call BS.

There's another possibility, which is that console developers are much more experienced in making 3D engines nowadays than 8 years ago, so they exploited the hardware faster. Not so bad for the PS3.

In any case, I don't think we've seen the peak of PS3's power yet. It's just that very few developers will push it more, and even then the added benefits may not be that big. I still think the Cell was a horrible decision for all the problems it caused in the first few years the console was out.

Christhegamer.... yet nonsense talk like this make me think you're not really much of a gamer at all.
