Everyone talks about this game.  I think it's on the 360 too.  Or maybe that was vespara or something.  Sorry guys haven't played much on the nintendo side of games in a while.  But every now and again I get sick of the other side of gaming and I always come back.  Been a while.

Beautiful Joe games are not really fighting games (like Street Fighter) they're side scrolling beat em ups (like Streets of rage)

Yeah, they're cel shaded and they pull it off quite well

I remember them getting really good reviews.  Jesus from the sounds of it I missed out on alot of good games last gen.

 No! It's way better and the battlesystem is somekind of RPG-system but then done totally different and done quite brilliant!!! Really, one of the BEST Cube-games out there! If there's anything I suggest you'd get, it's this gem!!!

WAY more awesome then then the Wii Paper Mario, and that one was quite good as well!

ya, the first two paper marios (for n64 and gc) were turn-based rpg's where the fight happen on a theater stage enacted by paper cutouts. the third one for the wii took a different direction and you ended up with a classic platformer with a few prg elements thrown in to boot. instead of a turn-based system, you jumped on enemies to attack them.

Some other suggestions:

Beyond Good and Evil, PoP: Sands of time, Geist, Star Fox: Adventures, Timesplitters 2, Timesplitters: Future Perfect, Animal Crossing, Soul Calibur 2, Pikmin 2, Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2, Mario Kart Double Dash!

 

Those are not just 'good' games... They are really, really awesome!

Kabhold-

I would definitely recommend Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. It's a completely awesome game. I'f you've played Paper Mario for the N64, I think you'll agree.

I'd also recommend Tales of Symphonia. It's one of the best games for the little cube. And then you can get Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World for the Wii also!. =]
