Heavy Rain detective.....meet Mariska Hargatey, from Law and Order SVU

Ok now you guys gotta admit, these girls look awfully alike. As soon as I saw this chick I was like OMG MARISKA IS IN A VIDEO GAME!!!

At first I thought the first picture was from Heavy Rain and was quite impressed. However, the second picture doesn't look that realistic.

Even when looking past the completely different hair, mouth and eye shape, the lack of boobs should have been a dead giveaway.

No, not photorealistic at all.

Wait until next-generation, or some current-gen PC game.

I am not talking about photo realism, I am talking about how closely they resemble each other. You can obviously tell they based her appearance on her.

They look nothing alike, hell I was impressed when I saw the first picture but then I scrolled down and saw the second one and hoped the OP was joking.

Ok look at the bottom pic, then look at Mariska. They are a dead ringer for each other. Not in relation to HR pic looking photorealistic, but the idea that these two favor each other. What I am getting at is that they based her on Mariska who is best known for LAO. This might even be insight to what and who exactly she is to the story.

They realy don't look alike at all. Maybe at 7 beer o'clock they would, but it's no that time yet. Also you seem to either misinterpret or completelt fail to understand what the uncanny valley is. It's where a human looks so real that if it wasn't for some very imperceptible differences which our unaware mind catches, we'd belive it was real. However because of those minor differences from a human being, we get the uncanny vibe. Basically photorealism, which this game's graphics are not.

Outside of eye color and eyebrow shape there is no similarity. Even the shape of the face is wrong.
