Okay, calmed down a bit!

It's probably too early to ask, but I wonder, who's developing it? Going with Level 5 again? (hope so, I enjoyed DQ8)

The news really is amazing, though. This is easily Japan's biggest non-Nintendo franchise. After this, anything goes...

Also, what do people think about the series that have already moved onto HD consoles? It would be strange if they made a switch down to a weaker system, so I think they're a lost cause. It also doesn't help that franchises like FF, SO, and DMC do very well in the west (as opposed to MH and DQ being reliant on Japan).

Don't discount the possibility of FFXIV. There's nothing stopping it, assuming FFXIII is ever actually, you know, released.

hey, don't get too ahead of yourself. after FFXII, I'm kind of worried if FFXIII is going to suck too. graphics sure will make the game beautiful, but if the game is a complete repeat of FFXII's extreme lack of characterization, good story, plot twists, and a battle system that doesn't play the game for you and all you have to do is move the joystick, then FFXIII might just suck for the PS3 anyway.

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

It tells me how important technology is in JRPGs

Doo doo doo dooooo

HEY! What do you know! JRPGs are in a genre that doesn't require much technology at all!

I don't mind with DQ, FF. KH and Tales.

But haven't you ever fantasised about an FF that mimics the CGI cutscenes? After playing FFXIII that'd be a huge letdown... multiplat's fine by me though :P

No, I fantasize about Final Fantasies having good writing and characters ala FFVI and FFXII

Okay, I can agree with that lol. It was definitly not a bad game, I did enjoy playing it for the most part. It just lacked FF-ness to me.
