End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

There was always a very high chance that KH3 would go to Wii, for the same reasons people expected DQX to go to Wii.

The blockbuster game is designed for Nintendo Co Ltd's (7974.OS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) DS handheld gear. It also said it is developing Dragon Quest X (Ten) for Nintendo's Wii game console.

Has Japan ever seen such a divided distribution of it's major game franchises before?

It might be the laggard region for Video game sales, but at least it's a fun one to watch.

Yeah. I don't think anyone expects KH3 or a DQ game to land on the PS3 (or 360), but alot of people have stated that they would like KH3 to be on an HD console.

PS3 has FFXIII and Versus XIII

360 has FFXIII and several smaller RPGs, including Infinite Undiscovery and The Last Remnant

Wii currently has Dragon Quest X and.... Crystal Chronicles?  I'd say KH has a pretty good chance.

Holy shit, this is fantastic! I just finished playing DQ4 a couple weeks ago, and I loved it. Can't wait for this (and IX)!
