So far we've got Dragon Quest X, Monster hunter 3 and the main Tales series game.

The major Japanese shift is happening. Who knows what will fall next.

KH3 would be okay on Wii. The other two? Ew.

Don't discount the possibility of FFXIV. There's nothing stopping it, assuming FFXIII is ever actually, you know, released.

HEY! What do you know! JRPGs are in a genre that doesn't require much technology at all!

I don't mind with DQ, FF. KH and Tales.

But haven't you ever fantasised about an FF that mimcs the CGI cutscenes? After playing FFXIII that'd be a huge letdown... multiplat's fine by me though :P

No, I fantasize about Final Fantasies having good writing and characters ala FFVI and FFXII

FFXII is the best game in Final Fantasy series.

And finally SE has got something serious for the Wii!

Some people kept on whining the Wii wasn't getting third party support in Japan. This shuts them up. Or at least it should.

Yup. IF they hit around the same time (March?), add Wii Sports: Resort to the mix, along with Motion+ ... and we can see where the sales of the Wii for the 12 months will come from.

Then the only missing links, are some form of "real" Wii Pokemon Adventure title... and throw in Nintendogs Wii to top it off for Xmas.

Next year is going to be VERY interesting indeed...

lol. But Wii sales are flattening somewhat. Although it's still more or less on track to equal PS2 sales. But DQ10 + MH3 pretty much is a killer combo, that will ensure most hardcore Japanese gamers will get a Wii. Which is good news for the smaller JRPGs we'll see next year.

I'm with Okey on this one: FF will not be on Wiii (main series) becuase it's very much based on graphics.

@OkeyDokey: Look in your heart, you know it to be true. Join me, and we will play the Final Fantasies of a new age, an age where characterization actually matters and writing has to be something better than what you'd see in your average shounen series...!

Don't worry about it - FFXII was done by a different group, really. Many people were disappointed because it was way different than the rest of the series.

On the other hand, others, like reviewers (or as you see above, Khuutra), loved it. The next game will probably play more like FFX, so you don't have much to worry about (though Khuutra might ).
