Well if you want to interpret it like that then go ahead but that's not what I said or even implied . You can't argue that Sony is doing well by any measure against it's competition but that's largley due to it's recession unfriendly price point , it's a mass market product like the Wii&360 ; when the masses income suffer so do sales of costly goods but because of the PS3's high price point and it's similarity to the 360 it'll suffer.
But it is admirable how well such an expensive product is still selling in large numbers in the midst of a recession, I don't think the 360 would sell nearly as healthily at a $400 price point which is part of the reason Microsoft reduced it's price so aggresivley. it shows the PS3's strength and potential .
