You can actually use your Miis in-game plus have a more unique style. Avatars from Home/360 can be made anywhere.

Actually, one of the only channels I kept was the Check Mii Out Channel. I'm always amazed to see the creativity from others applied to Mii's. It's always fun to check out some of the crazy creations on there*.

*And then steal them without any regret. Mwehehehe!

Stealing them is fun too. I once found this awesome Leonardo da Vinci Mii, so I downloaded him and copied it (making it slightly better). Same week a competition for Leonardo da Vinci came up, so I entered the Mii, and I got to level 9 or 10 (I think) - I've never come higher than 7 on others than him.

Just proves that piracy is good.

Seriously, some Mii ones didn't deserve to win, especially the Palin one.

And to people saying that Home is in beta, it doesn't change a thing. The face creation is not going to get an update all of a sudden. Maybe they'll add more stuff like clothes and face paint, but that's the only thing I can think of.
