Oh noes, MS is doomed! Rare being sold to Nintendo confirmed?

Just so you know.........sarcasm -_-

What kind of messed up reporting is this?  CEO Jerry Yang??!?!?

Yahoo is cutting 1500 jobs, not Microsoft.

This article is a jumbled mess.  Either they are not reffering to M$ cutting jobs, or they are not reffering to an e-mail from Jerry Yang.

The article actually mentions "Yahoo executives have nothing to worry"

So the TITLE of the article IS a type then

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

The story looks similar to this but it is referring to Yahoo.

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Yahoo Inc will tell 1,500 employees on Wednesday they are losing their jobs, after announcing in October that layoffs would occur by year's end, a person familiar with the situation said on Tuesday.

dammit, N4G is such bullshit.

How do I edit the title?

Not your fault but I'm surprised more people haven't realized this by now.

If somebody sites an article from there as a source it's should instanly be taken with a HUGE grain of salt.  As this so easily shows.

..worldwide, MS losing 1700 just in 2 areas in the US :O

Is that supposed to be a tit for tat with the tremendous layoffs at Sony? I mean, it'd be great if the article actually made sense. It's like the OP tried to find an "A-ha!" moment just for the sake of marginalizing the Sony news.

It's like the Sony fanboys were in a rush to find some news that Microsoft was suffering as much as Sony financially. It leads to posts like this.

Lesson: read beyond the headline once in a while. I know you were excited to post it and revel in the fact that people were fired from MS too, but slow down. You'll get embarrassed.

Note to self, never trust mediabistro again.com

Wow the recession is even hurting Microsoft. Damn
