Forums - Sales - Why does Wii have such crap games?

I got a Wii because i thought thered be some good fun exclusive games i have 3 games Brawl, Zelda Twiliight Princess and Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles. I got Brawl when it came out and haven't had a game for it since because the games are crap. There either 1. Multiplatform games but the versions always worse on Wii than PS3 or Xbox 360. 2. Kiddy exclusives, most of these Wii exclusives are just for little kids, looking at the popular Wii games on here you have Zack and Wiki, De Blob, Super Paper Mario, Opoona, MySims and the Mario games. 3. Things like Wii Fit, Wii Play Cooking Mama that are just challenges with no depth. Are there any Wii games out there that are exclusive, arnt childish, have a story and are good? Please recommend some.

The Wii has lots of good games. I think you may have just chosen the wrong console for your personal demographic.

I know this is a game site and video game fanboys are the most sensitive of them all, but yes im serious.

Wii has too many kiddy games.

Epic fail thread.

Try Metroid prime or something. Sigh.

Yeah, I finally have a sig.

Fire Emblem and ToS:2 are a good place to start for a traditional core challenge.

SMG, MKWii, Brawl headline the Wii's traditional gaming.

Basically if you are a hardcore gamer, you are going to need a hd console to support your gaming.

Wii is an awsome 2nd console. And for a casual or kid, it is all you need.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Perhaps you should try some of those games...

Zack & Wiki -- not a kids game.

de Blob - Stupid amounts of good fun

Super Paper Mario - excellent writing (reminds me of Shrek almost) and even has a story (your number 3 point)

Mario Games - I assume you mean things like Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Strikers Charged-- all good games for all ages

So yeah, research research research.  You just might save yourself some respect around here.
