you base persons opinions on games by the country they are from? i trust European reviewers more when it comes to soccer games, same way i would trust american when it comes to american football or basketball, apart from that i dont care what country the reviewer is from.

My two main gripes with this top ten list are:

-MGS4 in ninth. That is just plain ridiculous, they gave it a 9.5/10.
-Mirror's Edge. What the hell is that doing in the list? It's a mess. A short, ugly mess. EDIT: It may interest you to know that IGN AU gave Mirror's Edge an 8.5.

GTA4 in first place annoys me, but doesn't surprise me, the lack of Gears 2 and Brawl is simply retarded, and... Braid? Seriously?

Anybody noticing the lack of Gears 2 love from reviewers? It's not on Gamespot's preliminary list, and that's after they (both Gamespot and IGN) gave the original Game of The Year 2006. Maybe that's why.
