Can someone in the know who has a bit of time on their hands give me a list of "big" games coming out in Japan this year for the three titles?

Super Mario Galaxy
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

I don't know about the PS3/PSP, the DS already has all the big titles and the Xbox 360 isn't big enough in Japan for titles to be "big", except maybe Halo 3.

 How is Metrod a big Japan title ? the last two Metroids sold less the Resistance in Japan.

PSP has Final Fantasy Crisis core.

For once, I have to agree with Killzone. The Metroid franchise has never been big in Japan.

Okay. A few notes: For the DS and PS2 games, there are litterally dozens of other games coming out between now and October. But I have NO idea about the Japanese market. I just picked the games I was familiar with that I knew would be big sellers. For PS3/X360, obviously, I picked games that will sell well in relevance to the rest of their lineup.

As for Wii, there really wasn't a great deal of info about major game release's dates. Gamefaqs.com was where I got the info.

Isn't Dragon Quest IX coming out in Japan this year?

And Tales of Innocence is set for a December release.

Yeah what is with you lot DRAGON QUEST IX for DS, and FF IV remake on DS. Also Wii has Galaxy, Smash and Wiifit. PS3 has White knight Story and someone has eternal sonata ( i forget who). Crisis Core should be big for the PSP as well. Square Enix is spreading the handheld love wouldn't you say guys.
