Well my new PC arrived today. I have not really played PC games in the last eight years. Reccomend me some good games please. Also, any suggestions as I'm starting from scratch with my new PC ex: (Web browser, virus scan etc.)

Fallout 3 is a must. If you really want to test your computer, try Crysis and Crysis Warhead (or even GTA IV, hehe). Oh, and if you're a RTS fan, buy Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3.

For your web browser, Firefox or Opera is good. For a free antivirus, get avast. For a free anti-spyware, get Ad-Aware.

Will try Crysis. Which one should I get? both? Already got Fallout 3 and GTA IV for consoles. How about the Civilization series? I think I like it which one should I get?

Civilization IV + expansions! I have 3 of them and they are all worth it!

Browser - Use firefox if you can be bothered looking for some cool add-ons, Chrome otherwise

Games - Civilisation is brilliant, stay away from 2. 1 is probably looking a bit outdated nowadays :P 3 and 4 are both good.

Woops I just have Civ IV, Warlords and Beyond the Sword. I haven't gotten Colonization yet, sorry. And yes you need the original for the expansions AFAIK, not 100% about Colonization though (Due to not owning it)

If I had a bleeding edge PC, I would buy Oblivion and mod the living daylights out of it. There's very little you can't do with that game as far as customization... must be hundreds or thousands of mods and DLC downloads available.
