I love Tekken games for their playability and they used to have great graphics relative to its competitors (Tekken 3 especially) but the graphics have sucked after Tekken 3. I mean, seriously there is so little improvement over its predessors compared to what other titles such as Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive or Virtua Fighter Series have accomplished.

Tekken 6 is epic because it is also coming to XBox 360. The future of the Tekken series is guaranteed with a MS port of the game.
3 million sales of Tekken 6 on multi-platform is much better than 1 million sales only on PS3.

Tekken 6 has been in arcades for a year now. Those Arcade machines run on prototype cell chips that are made by SONY. Sony paid for all of T6's arcade machines! The game was suppose to come out a year ago. It should be the easiest port of all from Arcade to PS3. Now not only is this game multiplat, but it was also delayed a whole nother YEAR!

sigh.........I need a drink. I think I might take out my extra agression on anyone playing on 360 T6. I will show them why the 360 controller is an inferior fighting tool then the PS3's for tekken. I would create T6 online genocide for all those playing on the blasphemous version, that is if it has cross plat play, which I highly doubt.......sigh.

I am going to assume you are basing this over the realization that T6 was a once PS3 exclusive game gone multiplat, the likes of which we have seen so far GTAIV, DMC4,FFXIII.

GTAIV sold better on 360 then PS3.

But here is the twist....

GTAIV had exclusive content going for it while the PS3 version did not. This was a huge incentive to get it on 360 as both games were said to look identical otherwise. Looking back now though.....some might feel regret as majority of all GTAIVs returned to GameStop are......360 versions! THe actually stronger fanbase bought it on PS3 as less were returned by the next day. I believe that partially the 360 fanbase bought that game on the hype, even if they don't like the genre like sheep jumping off a cliff. That seems to be the issue with most 360 games. They buy it because everyone else is,  not becuase they are trully interested. What else could explain my Gamestop getting several Halo 3 games returned within 6 FREAKING HOURS of it's release?

Enchanted Arms was a timed exclusive RPG for 360 that ended up selling better on PS3, as horrible as it was.

FFXIII is yet to be determined but I can tell you this. FFXIII never truly made it's mark on the world befoe Playstation and that is a fact. Until FFVII they were simply surviving as a gaming company,and were not revaled as a force to be reckoned with. if a weak RPG such as EArms sold better on PS3 so will FFXIII, not to mention the fact it is still exclusive to PS3 in Japan AND it was completly designed around it as the lead system.

Tekken 6 I believe will either sell more on PS3 or about equal. PS3 has the history. THe loyalty, the controller. Something 360 CANT buy away. And I actually hope the game sells LESS then tekken 5. That will teach these unloyal companies to stop screwing SONY on promised deals(And dont you dare say T6 was never promised as the early trialers stated that the game was PS3 EXCLUSIVE).

PS3 is selling a lot slower than its predecessor the PS2. The XBox 360 is selling much better than XBox. MS are in a much better position than Sony.

Why buy a PS3 at $400 while $200 gets you a game console - XBox 360 to play Tekken 6?

How could Namco even do that to Sony? Sony paid for all Tekken 6 arcade machines!!!!! ALL OF THEM!!! THey have been since the inception of tekken. AND SONY STILL CANT GET THE GAME EXCLUSIVE!!!

I am indeed a little bit bitter that 360 could at least get a mediocre exclusive fighter like DOA to stay with just them.

But TEKKEN....tekken is THE most popular 3D fighter(3D, not 2D, or FIghter period). What does a company with that kind of title have to worry about game sales for?

I thought Namco was better then that. I guess I was wrong.
