Does anyone know where I can find tyhe full numbers for the million sellers? Right now I can only find the rounded numbers, 40.24 million for SMB as an example.

from there you can type in a game and look at cumulative sales. However, for games prior to this generation there will probably be no/little sales information.

As for when Wii Fit will outsell those games, it is pretty hard to tell. The only 2 things on that list it might not pass is Ps3, Wii Play.

I think it should have a decent chance on both though. Wii Play seems to sell to ~ 1/3 Wii purchases (in the same week) right now, and that number has been steadily decreasing (albeit a bit because the AR lowers at holiday times). Wii Fit seems like it could beat that.

Ps3 seems to be in a bad period, and Wii Fit should steadily outsell it as you noted in your OP.

Another thing I didn't know was that Wii Play is less than 600.000 lower than Ps3.  Maybe that can pass it too?

As you see, I added in Mario Kart Wii just to compare it to the other titles. I couldn't get it in the same table as yours, but at least it is there. Would be great if you put it into the OP, but I understand if you won't (it isn't really on topic). Anyway, if you do - you have the data here, and if you don't, this is decent too.

I think it is definitely impossible.  Unless PS3 never sees another price drop and even then I doubt it could even remotely be possible.

I think that Wii Fit has a change of passing Ps3, but I do not think it will stay ahead for the end of the generation.

What I do doubt though, is that Wii Fit can pass Ps3 if it doesn't do so in 2009 or first half of 2010.

Still, if we say that the gap ends at 5.2M (optimistic), this would mean Wii Fit would have to outsell Ps3 by 100K weekly to beat Ps3.

As we can safely say that the Ps3 will sell at least 12M, and possibly as high as 14M, this means it will sell ~ 200K weekly excluding December.

Can Wii Fit keep 300K weekly through all of the first 45 weeks of 2009? For the last 17 weeks, it has sold 299K weekly, so judging by that, it has a chance.

On the other hand, this means that Wii Fit would need to get close to 50% AR (well, more ala 45%). No non-bundled game has had that 1 year after the release of the game, and I don't think any game that wasn't released in the 1st year of the console ever has.

I think it's interesting. Good job on all the effort you're putting in. It would be amazing if it did manage to pass the PS3 (for a limited time of course).

You all seem to miss the big picture.

Currently the Wii Fit (software) sells the balance board. But more and more games will come with balance board support that will boost Wii Fit's package sales. People that were holding off buying it now buys it for Shaun White for example.

Wii Fit will basically become a mini console having several softwares selling the package, like the real consoles do.

Considering this I find it safer to bet on Wii Fit than on PS3.

No I mean definitely impossible.  I expect PS3 to sell 40m at the very least.  I don't see how Wii Fit could possibly keep up with that.
