I'm not sure anything could do that. I'm not that into console FPS's. Haven't bought one since Perfect Dark for the N64. No, I like my FPS's on PC. And I don't even like most of those!

The bolded line is why I said it's a negative. You said everyone else is about the same. I disagree, strongly. In fact, in real life, I don't know a single person who reads reviews before buying a game. Every single one of them use demos and rentals. And I know a lot of gamers..which doesn't account for 'everyone' but it discounts your statement about 'everyone' none-the-less.

It's always a little weird when a person with 'killer' in their name doesn't like killing people..
80 or higher on Metacritic for the first 2 days, then im getting it no matter what.
I will probably rent it from lovefilm. I can't be bothered to waste £30-40 on games and then after a few weeks see them collecting dust. (Unless its a very, very big game like GTA, GeOW etc.)

in my head, ive already bought KZ2....
If RE5 gets a better review I will get RE5 but if Killzone is over 90 percent and RE5 gets better reviews from metacritic i will get Killzone . . . quite a complicated system I have here

My prediction: NATAL WILL NOT help 360 sales. Maybe a 50-100k boost week 1, then a 30-70 k boost week 2, and back to the norm again after 3-5 weeks.
I am going to be extremely tough on this one. I am not a big fan of FPS games. So for me, it would have to be higher than 90 on gamerankings at the time of release.
That or it needs to get higher than 9 from both Gamespot and IGN.
