SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation

Working out Socom sales (Current sales perforamance + predicted others opening sales)

Based on 7 weeks of sales data in the USA (350k) and 4 weeks in Japan (10K) , assuming others will sell at least a quater at opening(75K) of the number of copies the US version did (others versions usualy sell around 1/4 of the US version)  Socom should sell around 435K (without PSN sales which currently be as much as 100K but i'll add 50K for bare minimum) which would bring sales to around a respectable 485k.

Socom is an online only game so it could be to the full game what GT5:P is to GT5.

Socom is getting release in Feb-March in Europe next year? At the same time frame as Killzone 2 right? I don't think it'll reach anywhere near it, K2 will eat its sale badly.

SOCOM went up in metacritic... and metacritic isnt changing the score of 1up and psu for some reason.

Anyway as i've been saying "if this game sells 500k it will be a success and if it sells 700k it will be a hit"

Slant Six can suck a dick, they fucked up one of the best franchises ever....I'll still buy the game eventually though.

There won't be another full Socom. Zipper is working on MAG now.

Unless they have Slant Six make it. =x

Maybe it will, maybe it wont.

i cant wait to get this game, all them early reviews r wrong, game is now patched so the early scores hold no meaning

I think it could sell a million lifetime. It will be a slow process but it will. I really want to see a full SOCOM with single player though made by Zipper of course
