I hope they didn't hold back the 360/PS3 versions b/c of the Wii.  That would make absolutely no sense to me, and I think i would be mega pissed off if that was/is the case.  I think these are just bad screens/videos so far and EA probably has a promotion deal with Nintendo so they are focusing more on promoting the Nintendo version.

The Wii version is obviously getting a nice visual bump up from last year, but side by side in your living room I'm sure the difference in the 360/PS3 and Wii versions will be quite noticable.

I don't think it's a matter of looking better per system as much as looking better for specs. The PS3 video showed the same a major lack of detail compared to what we've seen on HD systems. The Wii actually showed models that looked more advanced than 6th gen versions of the game.

That's the difference.

This was true of the '07 version.  The 360 and PS3 versions sucked hard, but the Wii version was a pretty good game.  If you want the best madden experience, it's on the Wii.

Man, I have to say that the graphics, SPECIFICALLY SPEAKING, of the players in motion and the turf/field are freaking great. Download the video in 480P from IGN and it looks great. The cutscenes of players getting up, gesturing, players on the sidelines, etc. are just annoying after a while. I always press buttons to skip over that part anyway. I frankly don't really care if all the "people" in the stadium are yellow dots or the seats are empty. What I do care about is the animations of the players, control, and overall fluidity of the 22 players on screen when it counts.

I pre-ordered this for my Wii even though I have a 360 because I want to check out the wii controls for it. I'll post my impressions when it comes out in 10 days or so.

there is virtually no difference, which is amazing. what this really highlights is how much inefficient most developers are with code/not enough dev time for them to push hardware

I can't wait for this game.  I watched all the videos in hires on IGN last night and the overall animations and fluidity of the gameplay is quite good.  I've not been excited about a madden game since the Genesis.
