Vgchartz's worldwide traffic rank is 16,752 and growing fast. Impressive, and it still has a far way to go.

So, how popular can the site get? The site has shown to be quite popular in the UK and the U.S., both countries with large populations.

At what point will Vgchartz's traffic ranking peak and stop rising?

I think that Vgchartz will peak at about 4,500 traffic rank worldwide and then level off a bit, but never going below 5,000.

Since the creation of the thread, Vgchartz has gone up in traffic rank by 584.

Vg chartz has the potential to become the primary source for Video game sales data across the world. If it can do that then there's just no stopping it. Of course, something like that might take years. But it could happen.



I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do. 

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

There's no point to not trust it, is there? As far as I can tell, VGChartz has only been getting more and more accurate with its weekly and monthly projections.

The site obviously has great potential, seeing as certain CEO's of other "tracking" sites feel threatened in some sense.



By life end:

  • Wii- 100 million+
  • Xbox360- 35~40 million
  • PS3- 30 million
  • PSP- 30~32 million ------------- FAILURE
  • NDS- 85~90 million (Skeptical)  - FAILURE
  • NDS- 100 million+ (Optimistic) -- Success!

Yes vgchartz is growing well, but Ive been through forums and people dont trust this site.

 Sure it can. Remember, it's still quite young. Over time, they'll get more sources for Data, bring in Other region game sales, perfect their formulas. If they stick with it, I can see VG becoming the industry standard.

Forgive me, but I don't come to the forums that often. In a matter of fact, the only reason why I'm here and posting is because I'm trying to get 100 posts so I can edit Video Game profiles.

With that being said, is this guy speaking out of his ass or did I miss something? 

 

On a related note, I wouldn't want any of the three companies supplying VGChartz with sponsorship. People, such as myself for example, would get paranoid if the numbers were biased or not.
