If mods will excuse this bluntness for a moment...

Killzone3, don't be an asshole. That was low, even for you.

Takes an ahole to get through to an ahole,  that sure as we need air to live is NOT a fairly mediocre list.

It really depends. To me it definitely is. I might be interested in LBP and GT, maybe. The rest sure is the right stuff to make the Sony crowd happy, but it doesn't convert a typical Nintendo fan (such as me) into a PS3 follower.
Maybe that's one thing you need to understand: There's a big difference in the style of games between Sony and Nintendo consoles, and trying to convince N fans that Sony is 'better' is completely useless. I'm not saying these are bad games, but they completely fail to interest me.

Currently playing: NSMB (Wii)

Waiting for: Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii), The Last Story (Wii), Golden Sun (DS), Portal 2 (Wii? or OSX), Metroid: Other M (Wii),
... and of course Zelda (Wii)

While I think the pic is wonderful. I think the premise is pretty base. I gather your celebrating the systems library. However you imply that it makes a real valid point in comparison to the other two consoles on the market. Technically there are four consoles and two hand held systems.

While I applaud the fan antics it is disquieting to see blatant propaganda. You are making baseless implications. That selection is neither as large as the other two consoles, and the other consoles have equally varied selections even more so. Further more you have made a serious stretch when it comes to some of those games.

For example GTA4 is on two consoles, and the other console makes a more compelling argument for that system in the form of exclusive content. Other titles are also to be found on the PC. Semantics aside when it comes to the price of a PS3 a PC is a very viable option. Especially if you compare it to the price of a new graphics card. Finally some of those titles have no confirmed release dates they could easily slip out of the time frame for any number of reasons.

You have really built a house of cards that proves nothing, and is in fact easily disproved. I understand that many owners desperately want to justify the purchase however there is no reason to act like a marketing guru. Make a true compelling argument for the system.

I would love to see an analysis of the library for the system there might be ground to cover there. How do the exclusives, and the multiplatform library sync up better then does the competition. That might be a strong suit of this console. I suppose I will not know, because the fans keep fighting a lost battle. This system cannot compete with the lineup of the other two consoles when it comes to exclusives. Quality being left out of the argument which is subjective. The other two have much more to offer in volume.

quality > quantity

I miss the days when I was starving for a new Genesis or Super NES game. Developers couldn't afford to flood the market with "decent" games so nearly every release was a guaranteed good buy. Not so true now adays and it shows.

Where did I mention that the PS3 has more exclusives?

Fan antics? This is a picture showing some of the big games coming to the PS3 in the next 9 months, how is this antics?

Baseless Implications of what? What is the implication this picture is making other than these are some of the big games coming to the PS3 in the next 9 months?

I can't make a picture of the PS3's future games now? Somehow this is attacking the library of the other systems?

It seems you are only here to pick a fight and can't stand anything positive about the PS3...

How do you disprove a list of games? I'm totally lost at your logic. Did I say GTA IV is exclusive to the PS3, did you read my comment under the pic?

I don't need to justify anything, the purchase was justified long ago on the merit of future games coming to it, what better argument is there for a system than its games? Please, if you're gonn a troll albeit using elaborate explanations, lemme discourage you of that right now as I see you are new to these here forums.

In fact your long winded and elaborate paragraphs that don't convey anything remind me of someone else who regularly makes a return to these forums and spouts nonsense, but I won't mention his/her name for fear of another visit.

This could be really nice if PS3 can accompany this with another price drop. I personally think there will be one in shortly after the beginning of the year.

The price ALWAYS drops in march.. killzone 2..mgs4..LBP..GT5..Oh yea big games :D

To me the console that is actually bringing some of the biggest game next year (so far) is the ps3, I see the wii with mario kart and maybe even mario tennis, maybe a new rayman game. Also the 360 doesnt have anything big announced for next year. This is why I want nintendo vs sony to stay for years to come, microsoft is killing sony's league, and I think if microsoft weren 't here the wii and ps3 would be 10mil vs 10mil match.

That's only the difference of how the companies are announcing their games. Sony has announced games that are way off from being released. Both MS & Nintendo thus far are focusing on games within reach and biding their time before announcing games you won't see until mid/late 2008.

To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

Actually MS' biggest 08 games are also already known:

Alan Wake, Too Human, Halo Wars, Fable 2.

The PS3 has a better 08 lineup as of right now, especially early 08.

I too expect another PS3 price drop before the end of January 08 and before MGS 4 and GTA IV hit.
