 Not as bad? Looking at what you predicted in Twroo's thread, this is a very high order of damage control.

Well those were all predicted before the X360 got it's adjustments... ie when the PS3 was about to reclaim weekly sales numbers higher than it.

Well then why did you say it was not as bad? So you predicted a 5k diff and now a >410k diff is what you expect to warrant a 'not as bad' comment? Im not going to read the whole thread to see when your expectations changed, but reading the last comments of the thread, at least the other predictors didnt come up with crap like that and admitted the 360 is overperforming.

Whatever, there is nothing wrong with twroos thread, its good work, and it shows that the 360 is overperforming against their expectations. I dont claim to be able to predict well on a weekly basis. I dont care about your track record, its how you reacted that was very contradictory so I commented - it was severe damage control.

@Twroo - even if it was, I dont think peoples expectations and predictions changed by that much since last week which was when the 360 started heading in a different trajectory. Definitely not to the point people were expecting 2.4x was a 'not as bad' scenario? Heck, even me a 360 fan didnt expect that much until I saw MS announcement in regards to the 3x sales.

Even though Wii dosent need a price cut, its really scary to think about what will happen if it does get a price cut.

How is that a troll when i believe we have two consoles undertracked? I'm not showing biased towards either console. I just believe the numbers are a touch low.

 

 

It's not a troll post.  Questioning "what is" is never trolling.  However, I am curious to your reason why you think this.  Just a hunch or preconceptions came out wrong or what?  Just curious.

Oh my gosh. Nintendo is... just well absolutely taking over the market. 1,7M for the DS and 1,3M for the Wii. There are no words. Considering both consoles have been selling at a profit for Nintendo ever since launch, by the end of the gen Nintendo's profits will dwarf both Sony's and Microsoft's respective divisions. I am anxiously waiting for the next Nintendo financial report, it'll probably go down in history as the biggest amount of money a videogame company ever racked in - until Nintendo outdoes itself next year. It is truly staggering.

As for the HD war of the bottomless money sinkholes, the 360 didn't improve that much compared to last year. Overall however the gains in Europe will lead to a record week.

While i appreciate VGChartz do their best from the sample data they get they are in danger of potentially being 200k-300k out from the official NPD data when it is released in just over a week. If that happens then it will raise a lot of questions as that is a mighty huge amount of numbers being out.

Either way nice numbers all round really! Plus that also means 360 outsold PS3 by 600k in just 2 weeks. That is major amounts of numbers, almost Nintendoesque! Well done Wii60. PS3 is meh, i think those numbers are major over-tracked for it again.

 

Well,it's all about assumptions,we can believe on what we want.but for me as many the VGC's numbers seems fine,but let's compare them with NPD's ones.In the mean time this looks right.

 Dude...reread ssj12's post. If kirby was showing bias towards 360, why wouldn't he want ssj to be right? Last line of the post.

My question is does kirby007 believe ssj12 is trolling because because he doesn't take VGChartz numbes at first blush or because he justs wants a second source to verify?
