Using this list, I got them all with 4 seconds left.  Some REALLY obscure consoles came out over the years, huh?

Without using the list (last night) the most obscure console I got right was the Zodiac Tapwave.  The most mainstream one that I missed was the Sega Dreamcast.  Still don't know how I missed that one!

Cheating? What the heck people?

I got a 33, would have been 34 if it would have accepted "Game & Watch" or "Game and Watch"...I figured it just wasn't on the list...

I typed in game and datch

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

I got a 33/68 without using Wikipedia, including #1 on the list - The Magnavox Odyssey....Did it in around 6 minutes before I ran out of consoles + got too tired of re-naming 3 systems.

However, I got a few more thanks to improper spelling:

Coleco Telstar (thought it was Telestar)
Turbografix-16
Phillips CD-I (thought CDI was one word)
Nokia N-Gage

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Gah... couldn't spell magnavox odyssey.

I got to 31 (32 with the Odyssey) before I needed help.... and 38 with help (4 minutes to find 30+ consoles is hard)

Before I searched for them, I couldn't recall the exact name of the Virtual Boy and had missed off these:

Ones I got to attain 38 instead of 31:
Fairchild channel F (never heard of)
Atari 7800 (Forgot)
Atari Lynx (Forgot)
CDi (Stupidly forgot)
3DO (Stupidly forgot)
Sega Nomad (think I had heard of before, but not sure)
Atari Flashback (Never heard of it)

Ones I didn't, but should have got:
Magnavox Odyssey (couldn't spell)
Mag Od ^2 (same as mag od)
Coleco telstar (knew there was another coleco but couldn't recall it)
Game and Watch (I thought these were single game only systems so didn not count them)
Vectrex (forgot)
Amiga (forgot)
Gizmondo (forgot)

The rest I have never heard of.

Damn you people are good. I got 23 only, though i missed some obvious ones too :(

Well, I got 44 out of 68, but I have some issues with this thing.

For one thing, it lists 4 different versions of the Odyssey, but only one of the Telstar, and there were 10 or 12 of those things. The Apple-Bandai Pippin is not on the list. The Atari Flashback 1 & 2 shouldn't really be on there. The Sega SG-1000 isn't unless that's what the PV-1000 is supposed to be. The 32X didn't make it, but the Neo-Geo CD did? The HyperScan did, whatever that thing is. But where's the Bandai Wonderswan? Or original Neo-Geo Pocket or the Game Boy Pocket?? So, it was an imperfect list. Kinda fun, but kinda frustrating in what's missing. Foolishly, I forgot the Virtual Boy.

Yeah that annoyed me too... I guess because they only counted dedicated consoles and not add-ons like the 32X and Sega CD... The Neo-Geo CD was its own separate system apart from the cartridge based AES. Wonderswan was never officially released in the US. MasterSystem II annoyed me as well since it's just a hardware revision like the Genesis 2 & 3 and the smaller NES and SNES systems.

The Atari Flashbacks have no business being on there as they are self-contained systems... same with the Game & Watch series, each one is its own individual game, and they are not dedicated gaming systems.

Oh well, it's a nice trip down memory lane and a good historical list of game systems overall.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

What really got me is own (or have owned) some of the items that I didn't list because I don't consider them consoles.

Coleco Telstar was a series of units. So was Atari pong. So was Mag. Ody. (after the original).

Also, if the Atari Flahsback's are there, the Intellivision Direct-to-TV units should also be included.

The SMS 2 did eliminate the card slot ... so it is somewhat different. Now if I could only find one so I could play my one third-party unlicensed PAL SMS game.
