huh, i just realized, if it takes 2 1/2 years to make a game for PS3, what happens after early 2008? there are only so many dev teams making ps3 games around the world.
the Wii is an epidemic.

Why didnt we see more releaes on the Ps2, it took over a year for the big games to come.

+14 months untill AAA games hit, pretty much same thing with the PS3. Then there is Insomniacs, 2nd big PS3 release before the console even hits 1 year in the market. Industry lacks talent and skill, to bad.

too bad for sony indeed...
that's exactly the problem. sony can't count on 3rd party programmers spending their time to develop expertise in something as esoteric as the Cell architecture. there's no good incentive to do so, and that is one of sony's most serious mistake.
