my parents told me to get a 32'' hdtv but i dont know what brand
Don't be afraid of no name brands. They might look bad in the store (since they are mostly connected to bad sources), but once you get them home, configured and connected via HDMI, then they are sometimes very good. I have a Soyo I bought from Walmart Canada for pretty cheap at the time and I am very satisfied.
If you want to give no names a test run, be sure to go to a store with a good trade in program such as Walmart and Costco.
Not a bad idea. If you do a bit of research, you might be able to find where those no-names get their parts, like the screen. You'd be surprised at how many of these companies share screen distributors and you'll pay a lot less to get what is essentially the same technology, though without some of the bells and whistles of the name brand units.

Just get the cheapest 1080p one you can find, they are all pretty much the same.
Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

Depending on the screen tech, refresh rate (important if used for PC gaming) or contrast ratio (important for everything) can be very different.

A few years ago it was Sharp, then Samsung, then Sony and so on, but at the moment Philips produces the best looking HD TVs (at least in my opinion):

I wouldn't go with a off brand also 1080p doesn't really matter for a 32" just get one with a high contrast ratio and a decent respond time.
