And there wasn't a ban time system in place, or even a double check. Clicking that ban button meant instant ban...so I accidentally clicked it one day instead of viewing my profile. ARGH.

You can admit you were admiring yourself, afterall you served your ban in full right? ^^

I heard the mods were ban happy, but that's just ridiculous. I guess that shows you have ethic standards, if you're willing to ban yourself, when your own conduct gets out of line.

On a sidenote, this thread got really weird.

Just now noticed eh?  I wish I lived in blissful ignorance, but unfortunately I noticed it the day of.  Also fun to note that the list of banned people throws any staff directly to the top for subsequent ridicule, which is an interesting system.
