I'm a bit concerned about the DLC policy as they've stated it there.
Say you use the code then for some reason or other you need to download it again at a later stage.
Would this be allowed?

it would be the same as all other content off xbl.  using a code works the same as if paid by points

oh ok. that makes sense.

I was just a bit worried by this:

* Consumer Return Policy: Enclosed in each package will be an Xbox LIVE Marketplace token. This token will have a tear off strip that reveals a unique code to download the content over the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Once this code has been exposed, the downloadable content has been potentially accessed and can no longer be accepted for return.

But if thats normal and not a potential EA-like Draconian anti-piracy thing then cool

About the price, it seems fair. I'd actually like to replay through the game. Maybe I'll buy it back.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

thats about returning it to the store.  you really cant expect a store to accept open codes, when they have no way of verifying if it was used.   should someone have an issue with a code, they would contact Microsoft.

downloaded content is registered to the account and the console.  you can download the content an infinite amount of times to an account.  registering to a console prevents people sharing an account across multiple consoles, as only 1 can be active at a time.  the content could be used on a second console when the account is online(should you be visiting someone etc).   should you purchase another console you can transfer the thing to that console, which can be done once every year, which will allow you to access the content while offline.

Thats what I wanted to know, thanks.

It's going to be handled like normal DLC then.

Obviously return policy is one thing and access to DLC once registered is another.

I just get so paranoid about these things now since protection in games like Spore where you can only install it X amounts of times before having to give support a call, and something in the way it was worded made a distant alarm bell ring in my head.
