Yeah I'm a PS360 owner but I have question for all the others:

Does the PS3 feel like a slimmed down console to you?

I mean Ps3 on its own is a great console but the 360 has easier functionality and also much better online. Which other PS360 owner feels the same? I mean on the 360 it is so much easy and you can do many things at once. (i.e. chat AND play)

The PS3 doesn't feel slimmed down at all. It's friggin' huge.

In seriousness, I do prefer the interface and online of the 360, but perhaps it's only because I'm more used to it.

Maybe you think it feels slimmed down somewhat because you buy most of your games on the 360?  I wouldn't call it a slim downed console, I love it.  I just don't use it as much because I like my friends list on live better than PSN so I buy the games for the 360 when possible .

Well, you mean the PSN Versus LIVE. LIVE has been out and tweaked and perfected since XBOX1, Also you pay for live. Considering these 2 points, PSN is a pretty darn good service for FREE.

Multi-tasking? Sometimes. In game music is the first thing that comes to mind. Functionality, Noooooo. I play bluray movies in it.

To be honest, it's always felt kinda cold and robotic. Changing themes helps a little, but it still feels a little lifeless.

i prefer the ps3 interface mainly because i got the ps3 at launch and the 360 in february this month, so the xmb just feels better to me. that and the fact that i like a simple looking interface. nxe is too in your face imo, but it's still a welcome change.

having said that though, i don't think the ps3 is in anyway slimmed down. the functionality is near enough the same, the only difference is that the 360 can multi-task a lot better.

I guess whichever system we got first is the one we're more attached to/fond of.

Yeah, I love the functionality of my 360. Being able to play a game while also being in a 8-person party with friends that has nothing to do with the game is amazing; 5 of us could be in the same Gears party while the other 3 are playing different games and at the same time we're all in the same convo. It's like an 8-way phone, but better. I can't even begin to describe my preferences for 360>PS3. I was talking about this to a co-worker two days ago, actually.

no not at all. its the 360 that feels like a slimmed down console, ps3 has the easier functionality and a more stable online thats absolutly free to use.
