Forums - Sony - See Sony's motion controller in action...

@Xen

Are you serious? I'm sure you just missed whole idea of the "Wii" as established trademark. So if like you've said Sony enter "Wii territory in deep" - that will be last thing they do. MS... ma-a-aybe, but not in this generation. I bet they both quite satisfied with their current positions, just no need for "Wii territory".

lol I got the impression that he was talking about next gen…

@Xen if you are talking about this gen then forget it!

where to begin...

1- Its this a fake? Please, tell me its fake.

Yes it's fake! It was an presentation of Sixense and PlaystationLife slapped a tag on it claiming it to be the "ps3mote"

If you read the entire article.. follow the link not just what makingnmusic posted.. they are saying it themself.. it's just a third party motion controller for pc & consoles..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

And you miss the fact that MS does well in europe beside any Playstation trademarks. If your console is good, you can outperform an established trademark/brandname.

Also, Sony is in no need for Wii territory? what the hell does Sony London develop then? and for whom?

As a last point, Sony is more likely to go the Wii way, MS? much less.

I was talking about next-gen indeed. My first post in this thread clearly talks about Sony going with this controller for their next console, not the PS3.

Funny how PS fans like the remote when it's for their system >.> What an about face from what they normally say about the Wii's.

Ok, but as I said it won’t be easy to kick Nintendo’s ass actually this is what will make next gen interesting, everyone will have motion controllers. This reminds me of what Iwata said, that he wanted the Wii mote to be the standard controller in the market. It is happening!

Don't know about everyone going with them, but it's likely. Maybe they'll just have motion sensing features, like the Sixaxis. In any case, as long as the games are good, it's cool with me.

@Xen

MS and Sony competing each other on the same battlefield. Yep, MS was good in Europe this gen, and because of that you think MS\Sony would go to undeveloped (for them) market with no protection from failure, or I'd say huge disaster (at least not at this gen)? MS could afford that, but X360 is excelent software saler, just no need. Sony not at good shape right now to do smth potentially dangerous.

Sony London? Who cares? There was a lot of this stuff last gen, nobody cared.

My point was that they didn't develop casual-oriented stuff back then, as they do now... Sony still doesn't want that pie..?
