Why is it the only way your avatar looks an adult is if you add facial hair?

I mean, my cartoon person likes like he's 14! I am clearly not 14! I am 16! It's so different! GRAGH! Damn you microsoft for ignoring the 16-year-old gaming community!

I mean, just compare:

as you can clearly see, the *first* avatar clearly looks older because of the blonde "up"stache.

Why can't you add a nice two-day-beard on avatars?
I can on my Mii, but not on my avatar, really stupid.

For me Mii's are far superior to Avatars (although the white suit is great I must say).

Don't know. There seems to be much more customisation than with Miis but funny enough my Mii looks a million times more like me than my 360 avatar.
