% = the law of averages

Scores are not grades. They are statements of tiers of quality. The more specific your scale is, the more absolute a statement of quality it is, and the more problematic that is. The 100% system is the worst possible option unless we get even more specific.

What can possibly be more accurate than a percantage? 4/4? no, A+/B-? no, 9/10 ect....... no

people dont say that they feel 3/5 good do they? no , they say they feel 50% good

bottom line_________________

...I do not know anyone who grades something that way, because it's attaching an absolute value measurement to an abstract idea.

Review scores do not need to be "precise". They are not grades, and are not supposed to be absolute statements of quality.

So grades ensure quality? i think not, how many people cheat their grades? you can NOT cheat the percentage game.

so nobody ever cheated their grades? percentages are simply the most accurate.

Oh Christ

No, I am saying that scores are not grades, which is a definite statement of quality. More specific scores are bad because they are more specific. They are morel imiting, they are more absolute, and they demand the condensation of complex opinons into simple numbers which don't make any sense at all. The more specific you are, the worse the system is. The 100-point system is the worst.

Again i disagree with you, 4/5 leaves margin for error, 100% is just that........ 100% proof
