Lol, I now officially pity Sony and their (clearly) struggling console. At this rate, they'll lose even more support, making the PS3 an even more obscure choice in this gen. Red numbers be damned, they need to act now or have little to no hope of leaving a mark on this gen for me (its not how many consoles you sell, N64 was a brilliant console despite low sales but low sales equal poor support and that's no good!).

Last months NPD numbers presented a far bigger 360-PS3 gap than BGChartz had originally proposed.

So, you re sayin that the gap will be bigger?

Or, you have faith that VGchartz out of the blue, started overtracking 360 when last month undertracked it? (always according to NPD)

More revenue, yes, but that's just because it sells for a higher price.  More profits, no.

If that´s how it was in March, then all those months of the PS3 outselling the 360 have just been taken back by MS quite quickly.

I said "revenue" for a very specific reason ( and it's not exactly clear how much profit MS is making of their cut price 360's so you can't really talk about profits of hardware) . You have to have a more desirable product to generate more revenue with less units sold , it's as simple as that.

Great 360 numbers! Wii is a bit lower than I expected. The next 2 weeks numbers are going to be insane. PS3 is doing well for it's price point, but at this rate it may never catch the 360.

brilliant wiids and xbox360 sales as expected, ps3 is really selling bad compared to the competition, it just has to whether this until it gets price cut sometime next year.

Considering the price of the PS3 it is still shifting software pretty well...
