I think Sony had a better year software wise. There were more games this years then there were last year. Better quality titles. We'll see what next year brings.

Yep, the PS3 beat the crap out of the 360 and Wii for games this year, a huge improvement over 2007. My PS3's disc drive chose the absolute worst time to break now that Resistance 2 is finally coming out in the UK.

ye ps3e pumped out good games this year.............2009 will be even greater starting off with killzone 2 in feb...............theres not much for others in 2009

In my opnion, they didn't have the best software lineup. Compared to the wii and 360, the only game I can say was great was Metal Gear Solid 4. Resistance 2 was good also but MGS4 was the only game that had me excited on the ps3.

I can't speak for anyone else, but Fallout 3 and LBP top my list of all the games I played this year. They are 1a and 1b to me. I have probably played my PS3 more this November than I played my PS3 and Wii combined from January - October. I don't know ... it'd be a close call if I could go back and count up all those hours.

It has been a wonderful year for me in terms of the software releases. Purchased so many great games and not sure when I’m gonna finish some of them. R2 and Fallout 3 are next in line after I’m done with Dead Space. Still got unfinished DMC4, Lair, MGS4…
