in other words, your a 360 fanboy that just making up a hole bunch of crap that is not true.
And I Prove it
360 has Cheaper games?
last time i check all games, well at least 99% of them on ps3 and 360 are $60 dollars so this is a lie, you want cheaper games buy a wii, games cost no more than $50 dollars. search on amazon.com and look up prices if you don't believe me
360 has More games?
this is completely bullshit made by 360 fanboys who don't own a ps3. here is a link of 150+ ps3 exclusives to prove it
http://www.ps3forums.com/showthread.php?t=86124
New Xbox Experience?
New xbox experience will get offically owned by PlayStation Home, here is a link of a youtbube video showing a clip of PlayStation Home, or you can just write PlayStation home and search on youtube. NOTE- this video is outdated and they added more features

Comes with a microphone
you can buy a blu tooth for $10 dollars, or use the headset you got for the ps2, $10 one time payment, or $50 dollars each year just to play online on xbox. this doesn't take a genius to figure out which is the better deal.
Better Online
while its arguable wheither PSN or Live is better, PSN can support more players online. Resistance 2 can support up to 60 players online lag free. what is the maximum xbox has had online. less than 20, which doesn't even pass Resistance 1 mark of 40 players. if thats not enough check out MAG, a upcoming ps3 exclusive made by sony which can support 256 Players in one game. something that has never been done on a console

One last thing about MAG, 256 players online at once in one game. Just imagine throwing a grende, and killing 10 people at once.
MAG is made by zipper, the makers of socom, and we all know how sucessful the socom games zipper made, and that there is no way its coming to 360 because sony owns the rights to the game, and owns zipper who makes the game. And no zipper didn't make conforntation or tactical strike, it was slant six that made those games

Dude your full of fail
Home isnt out and is a pain in the ass i know i was in the beta nxe is better from what i have seen and easier to navigate.
You listed games that arent even out 360 has the bigger current on the shelf library
The controller is preference altho in design the 360 controller is better concaved sticks better placement and hooked triggers.
Live uses dedicated servers if the developer chooses to use them ie"frontlines 50 player online" or people host there own games which is better because when dves drop support for old titles 360 player will still be able to host games 10 years from now like they do on the old xbox ie look at what sierra did to there game users.
Dude nobody should have to pay for a microphone thats weak it should come with the console and the 360 is very versatile i use cheap dollar store cell phone headsets that work awesome with it.
360 does have more games at cheaper prices bigger library older library cheaper used titles and new fact.
mag by the way isnt out yet and 256 players in a fps isnt a good thing i hate playing 50 players in frontlines and i hated 60 in resistance.

I sold my ps3 for a 360 that should tell him something and i was a ex sony fanboy lol.I gave in and i was fed up with sonys bullshit i have been waiting long enough for what they promised and i was not imporessed i like the 360 much better now.
dude this is what you should have done, if no one has said it yet, forgive me if they have... but why did you get a TV without haggling for a console!?!?!?!? I said to my wife last week when we went to buy our new 101cm 1080p tv, "Wife, I'm going to get us a free ps3 with our TV" and not only did I get a free ps3 with the TV but I also got $100 off so I baught a HDMI cable with it, (seeing as though im in Australia and things cost 10x as much over here!)
So now that I have all 3 consoles, yay, (very exciting times) I would have to say... make a list of the things you must have and then the things you can do without and factor that against quality and cost and you will have your decision. I'll tell you my thoughts, they might help :)
* I got a wii because I didnt need HD graphics and was mad for motion controles, zelda and metroid. it also had a very attractive price tag!
Then i realised i really really needed HD graphics!!!!
*I got the 360 because I was waiting for either ms or sony to give me the better deal, and it turned out ms came first with a deal cheaper then the wii so i rushed out the next morning after hearing about it and got it. I'm also swayed towards the 360 because their are some really good game bargains on that system for its older games, which are still reall good!
*I got the ps3 because I knew I could get the salesman to give me one for free with my HD TV. (I got the HD TV for my 360 lol) I would never have baught one on its own because of its insane price vs 360 price. ($300 more in Australia then the 60gig 360 with 3 games) But I needed one for blue ray because its so much better then standard dvd. I was also able to get some really cheap games for it from toys r us.
if your patient and play your cards right HD gaming is much cheaper then the wii! personaly I also feel the ps3 looks better on a bigger screen, especially a 1080p screen. But if your tv is just a 720p then you wont notice any difference at all. But I do like more games on the 360. If your tv is a 50cm or an 80cm running at 720p you could get away with standard dvd upscaling on the 360 but once you start going into the 100cm zone with 1080p you really need a blue ray player or a ps3.
You could get a 360 and a blueray player for the same price as a ps3, just have a look at prices at your local electronics stores. It pays to know your towns gaming shops and what kinds of prices to expect.
In australia-
EB= is great for trading in games you got a good bargain for at another shop because you will only lose like $10, maybe even make a proffit! They arnt the best for finding great deals on games but they usually have very compedative console bundles. Look out for their 2 for $50 sales! Buy your games here if you want to pay full price for them (what I think is over pricing)
Toys R Us= One of the best places to buy games! be patient and check in every couple of weeks, once a month should be ok, or once a fortnight, you can get older games for half the price other places are selling them for and occasionaly they will do "buy one get one free" deals which knock the socks off the copetition. They usually have games $10 under retail value)
Dicksmith= dont bother
Joice mayne = dont bother
harvey norman = only for pc games or clearance stock
Wow sight and sound = They are emerging as a great place to buy games, very compedative. I've noticed them following the sales of other shops to stay compedative so usually anything you could get some where else for a good price you could find it there.
Big shopping centers like Big W and K mart = amazing deals if you are lucky enough to be there at the right time.
These are just the trends I've noticed in my City, other cities might be a little different so other people may have different opinions of these retailers
If at first you don't succeed, you fail
ps3 so you and me can play FREE on PSN =)
that an 90% are multiplatform.
NO red ring of death also =)
- Prices for each console
80gb Ps3 399$ 160$ limited edit 499$
Xbox from 200$ -399$
arcade version doens't come with HDD, and its kinda plain.
also you have to pay for the online that sucks :/
- Bundles in the States (buying the console there)
mainly the 80gb for 399$
- Do they come with HDMI cables?
the most expensive xbox360 does, ps3 depends on where you bought it i got free HDMI with my console
- Does the PS3 come with a Dual Shock 3 or the SIXAXIS?
it comes with dual shock 3 since the 80gb version was introduced
- THE MORE INFO YOU GIVE ME ON EACH THE BETTER
considering your friends, you are not going to pay online got for the ps3, for you, its better since you own HD TV
blu ray won the format war everything is comming in blu ray now and you wont have to buy a blu ray player now.
you can buy movies in the PSN store too or stream your netflix if you got it to your ps3.
if you are interested in renting movies only is free so you only pay for the movie.

That was true in theory ... but .... 360 rulez the HD market so far
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

yeah, in in australia you get the 60 gig 360 with 3 games for the price of a wii, thats $300 cheaper then the ps3 bundles that only come with one game I think. 360 rules! lol
