| Dodece said: @Spankey Do you not understand the difference between a subscription service, and a video store? A subscription service is a package deal. You pay a monthly fee, instead of individual rental fees. Netflix may be recognized, but there are other competing services. Many of which would greatly welcome a partnership with Sony. In fact thanks to the success of Netflix many of these services are waning. There is an opportunity for Sony to join forces with one of these smaller competitors. |
I've had netflix and i've had blockbuster online. I must say, Blockbuster online gets my movies out to me faster, at a better rate. I've never found a movie blockbuster didn't have in stock nearly immediately, and I can trade my blockbuster online rentals in at a blockbuster store for a new release rental from that store, and they are also immediately scanned and marked as returned at the store, so a new movie is sent out. It's excellent.
Another great thing is I've had about 20 movies lost in the mail since I started blockbuster online, I just report them, and they mark them off the queue, like they don't even care if I stole them(which of course I did not). The game thing is a movie is damaged, just throw it away, click "damaged" and they immediately send you the next movie on your list.
Blockbuster online is the better service, honestly, all except the streaming online stuff, which I've never tried from either company.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
