Good: i respect Sony as a company and i believe they make great products. the PS3 has great potential next year especially with some great exclusives and a price cut. Bad: Sony is having a bad holiday season but it is no way near as bad as many people make it seems. i highly blame this on marketing because none the American commercials made any sense. they had some great exclusives but they came out during the wrong time. Ugly: technically speaking the PS3 is the best home entertainment system. even though this is most consumers wouldn't buy it because it doesn't have a friendly 200 dollar tag. because of all of hardware they are in serious debt. it has become so bad that they raised prices for PS3 software 33% in others. that is why i am not surprised with the sales in others being demolished by the 360. i love my PS3 but it is time for a change. Sony/Domination 2009!

Sony lost this generation.
2008 was supposed to be the year of the PS3 now 2009 is supposed to be it.
They sure learned their lesson this time and won't be making a mistake like this anytime soon.
I still think this was a good thing, we gotta remember that Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft only care about money. After two generations of ownage Sony got way too confident and now they learned the hard way that you don't sell a console at 650$ and expect to win the console war.

they need a marketing ad like the one from last year (Ladies and Gentlemen)
that shows off all its great games that came out in 2008

yeah i liked that commercial at least it gave you a clear view of the game. it had great music too.

the only company that lost this gen is sony microsoft and nintendo will make lots of money...and gain marketshare.

They are doing great IMO [Especially when I look at the prices of all the consoles], 360 is just out shining it. MS's price cut at the moment they did it was clearly just a strong move that SONY financially has a problem doing anything against. And it's quite obvious that Wii has the generation under raps to due to it's firm grip on the casual market.

Right now all I really care about is the great games I have, will get, and will be releasing exclusive on the ps3 and multiplat for other systems these coming years.

Hopefully SONY learned alot this Gen and can improve on things with the next system. As for who win? ME, and every other gamer out their that's enjoying the systems that they own
