Hmmm... I don't think Wii will last 2 generations (or 10 years)!

And that's because there'll be a X720 PS4 around 2012 I think, so Wii will be lackin in terms of not only graphics. But potentially also motion-sensing technology and the pushing of user-friendly software like the Wii-series.

That's why I don't think it'll be able to do what the PS2 is doing, has done!

Thee Gameboy Color tend to be counted as the same platform as the Gameboy in terms of ability to play games. Not strictly true, but close. You think the Gameboy sold over 100 million units without the GBC? You would be wrong.

No.. Nintendo know what they're doing.. Half the stuff in my post may sound good but Nintendo want to expand the audience so we'll probably see more stuff than that anyway..

I mailed Nintendo once before.. I told them to make the GameCube black or white instead of purple and to allow DVD playback and have a controller with no wires.. That was before the GameCube was released and I was about 10 at the time :P

It may seem that pride always comes before a fall for console makers. Nintendo did certain arrogant things with the N64 and caused it to be beaten after the SNES. Sony did arrogant things with the PS3's launch and hype, leading to its fall.

Whatever happens, Nintendo must not be complacent from its assumed safety during the next gen (assuming the N6 takes the lead again, that is).
